Visit Moleaer at booth #71 on July 27-29
July 15, 2022 (Carson, CA) – The leading nanobubble technology company, Moleaer, is headed to Guadalajara, Mexico on July 27-29 for the 12th Annual Aneberries International Congress.
This conference will feature researchers from across the globe to present multiple pressing topics to berry producers, including sustainability, pest control, soil health, and nutrient management.
Soil health is pertinent to vigorous berry plants, though soil compaction and fertility is a common issue among outdoor berry growers. When soil has heavy compaction it causes multiple issues; poor soil structure and lower root and plant health due to reduced water infiltration, percolation, and nutrient availability.
Moleaer worked with Kapicua Research Center and a blueberry farmer in Chile to improve soil compaction issues using nanobubble technology. The blueberry farmer was looking for a sustainable solution to improve their soil growing conditions and water use efficiency. From July 2020 to April 2021 Moleaer and Kapicua conducted a study that monitored soil compaction, new shoot growth, fruit caliber (curd to pre-harvest) and phenology (curd to pre-harvest).
Nanobubbles were injected into the main irrigation storage tank with a 50% increase in dissolved oxygen. Over these nine months, the farmer saw great improvements. They saw a reduction in soil compaction of 20% compared to the control which resulted in more water and nutrient availability to the roots, leading to a 17% improvement in fruit caliber and a 13% increase in new shoot growth compared to the control.
Nanobubbles accomplish these benefits by working in multiple ways. They increase soil flocculation (the aggregation of soil particles which improves soil structure) and improve the soil rhizosphere health by increasing microbial activity and aerobic conditions. Additionally, nanobubbles improve soil fertility by breaking down larger aggregates of nutrients, making them more readily available to the roots. Nanobubbles reduce the surface tension and contact angle of water to improve penetration and infiltration of water. This reduces surface runoff and deep percolation losses leading to increased water application efficiency. All of this leads to better, more nutritious berries.

About Moleaer
Moleaer™ is the global leader in nanobubble technology with a mission to do more using less water. By deploying the power of nanobubbles, the company enhances and improves the performance and productivity of many of the world’s most critical industrial processes. Its proprietary nanobubble technology unlocks the power of water to help farmers grow more food, empowers businesses to manage water more effectively and efficiently, and restores aquatic ecosystems sustainably without chemicals.
Moleaer has deployed more than 1,500 nanobubble generator installations in more than 30 countries. The generators inject nanobubbles ― 2,500 times smaller than a grain of salt ― that supersaturate the water with oxygen or other gases, form mild oxidants for disinfection, and increase water’s ability to permeate soil and rock. Moleaer’s patented nanobubble technology provides the highest oxygen transfer rate in the industry at >85% and is a cost-effective, chemical-free solution proven to increase sustainable food production through better plant health and heat tolerance, reduce the use of chemicals across water-based industrial processes including the food value chain, restore aquatic ecosystems, and improve natural resource recovery.
