MARIO MONDO BRINGS 25 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE GLOBAL WATER TREATMENT INDUSTRY TO MOLEAER’S GROWING TEAM

February 28, 2022 (Carson, CA) — Moleaer, the leading nanobubble technology manufacturer, announced today that it has appointed Mario Mondo as the new Director of Global Services. Mario will lead the Company’s Services organization and market offering, focusing on ensuring Moleaer delivers to its rapidly expanding customer base the highest level of service, support and after-market care. Further, Mario will spearhead the Company’s effort to expand its Nanobubbles-as a-Service (NBaaS©) mobile and long-term solution offering to select markets including wastewater, natural resources and environmental remediation.

Mario Mondo joins Moleaer with 25 years of management, commercial and operational experience in water treatment, having operated over sixty water treatment facilities in twenty different countries. He was one of the original founders of AquaVenture Holdings Limited in 2006, which sold for $1.1 billion in 2020. He brings an extensive background in the water industry and executive level management to Moleaer.

When speaking about his new appointment, Mario Mondo said: “Having spent the better part of three decades in the water treatment industry and seeing many allegedly ‘game changing’ technologies quietly disappear, I spent a significant amount of my own time exploring, installing, and servicing Moleaer’s proprietary technology to learn first-hand how well it performs in the field. I discovered that the core technology is not only an elegant, effective, and efficient solution in water treatment but also can be disruptively innovative in aquaculture, agriculture, natural resource recovery and numerous other industrial applications where water is a critical input. I’m excited and proud to be joining such a talented, dynamic and passionate team and anxious to help Moleaer make a positive difference in our world by implementing Moleaer’s innovative environmentally-friendly technology world-wide.”

Bryan Brister, COO, Moleaer, said: “It’s an honor to have Mario join our team as we continue to expand globally. His extensive experience in the water industry and proven track record in successfully leading global businesses and operations aligns with Moleaer’s global market strategy. Our continued focus on increasing international commercial operations and distributor support requires a global leader with a vast background in the water treatment industry. Mario’s expertise will enable us to bring nanobubble technology to more water treatment processes and support our efforts in delivering sustainable, climate solutions world-wide.”

Moleaer now has over 1,500 installations of nanobubble generators in more than 30 countries and is treating more than 400 million gallons of water per day in agriculture, aquaculture, surface water, wastewater, and natural resources.

About Moleaer

MoleaerTM is an American-based nanobubble technology company with a mission to unlock nanobubbles’ full potential to enhance and protect water, food, and natural resources. Moleaer has established the nanobubble industry in the U.S. by developing the first nanobubble generator that can perform cost-effectively at municipal and industrial scale. Moleaer’s patented nanobubble technology provides the highest proven oxygen transfer rate in the aeration and gas infusion industry, with an efficiency of over 85 percent per foot of water (Michael Stenstrom, UCLA, 2017). Through partnerships with universities, Moleaer has proven that nanobubbles are a chemical-free and cost-effective solution to increasing sustainable food production, restoring aquatic ecosystems, and improving natural resource recovery. About nanobubbles

Nanobubbles are tiny bubbles, invisible to the naked eye and 2,500 times smaller than a single grain of table salt. Bubbles at this scale remain suspended in water for long periods, enabling highly efficient oxygen transfer of dissolved gas in liquids. Nanobubbles also treat and reduce pathogens and contaminants of emerging concern as well as scour surfaces to break apart biofilm matrices (Shiroodi, S., Schwarz, M.H., Nitin, N. et al., Food Bioprocess Technol, 2021).
